Robert Spano tapped to lead Washington National Opera

Robert Spano, who led the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra for two decades, has been appointed as the Music Director of the Washington National Opera, beginning in the 2025–2026 season. Spano also currently leads the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and the Aspen Music Festival and School.
