Martyn Brabbins appointed chief conductor of Malmö Symphony

British conductor Martyn Brabbins has been appointed chief conductor of the Malmö Symphony Orchestra, beginning his tenure in the 2025-’26 season. Brabbins, who has a distinguished international career and was most recently music director of the English National Opera, succeeds Robert Treviño and will lead the orchestra for at least three seasons.
