Lisa Batiashvili receives 2024 European Culture Prize

Georgian violinist Lisa Batiashvili was among a group of 11 cultural luminaries who were awarded the European Culture Prize for 2024. Batiashvili, who is Artist-in-Residence at the Berlin Philharmonic, was joined by other winners from classical music including soprano Fatma Said and tenor Rolando Villazón. The award ceremony took place at the Philharmonie Luxembourg and recognized the recipients’ many contributions to European culture.
